Our founder, Cameron Hilson, has nearly a decade of experience working in the entertainment industry. He has worked with many well-known artists and additionally has worked for some of the most renowned record companies in the world including EMI Music and Universal Music Group. After graduating from Full Sail University (Orlando, FL) with an Associates in Recording Arts and a Bachelors in Entertainment Business, he immediately began an internship with a start‐up music website (HearItFirst.com) that he helped grow to become one of the industry’s leading sources for Contemporary Christian and Gospel music content. Shortly, after the internship with HearItFirst.com, he began assisting in the marketing department at EMI Music. During his tenure at EMI, he navigated his way up from an internship to a temporary position and ultimately to a full-time role to oversee the New Media responsibilities for their Gospel division (EMI Gospel), which was home to Smokie Norful, VaShawn Mitchell, Myron Butler, Tasha Cobbs, and many other gospel greats. Until recent, he oversaw all Digital Marketing and Online Promotions for Motown Gospel (Capitol CMG / Universal Music Group). Cameron is now the Founder, CEO, and Project Director of Propeller Media Group. Some of his key responsibilities include developing and implementing digital, mobile, social media, marketing, and promotional campaigns, all of which have become vital to any modern‐day marketing plan.
